If you're like me, you appreciate a good coffee. Since you're here, I assume you are! I put together this list of my go-to coffee shops around my local area in Central California, but if you don't happen to live around here, I have included the recipes to my top five favorite healthy-ish coffee drinks so you can request them at your own local coffee shop or even make them at home yourself!
One thing to note about these drinks -- I try to live a health conscious life & don't drink anything that's filled with lots of syrups or "sugar free" sweeteners which are actually filled with toxic ingredients disguised as "healthy options." ( Just google the ingredients in some of the popular syrups commonly added to drinks, especially sugar free ones, and do your research on the sugar alternatives that they fill it with.) Instead, I opt for more natural ingredients that are single source, such as pure vanilla extract, pure maple syrup, honey, and occasionally real cane sugar.
